PROBLEM SOLUTION
The air conditioner
does not work at all.
t
Check
power
status and then operate the air conditioner again.
t
Plug in or switch on the circuit breaker and then operate the air
conditioner again.
t Ensure Isolator is switch on.
t Check if y ou have set the Ti m er. Operate the air conditioner
again b y pressing the Power button.
The temperature
adjustment is not
working.
t
Check if y ou have selected Fan/Fast m ode. In these m odes, desired
te m perature is set to auto and y ou cannot adjust the te m perature.
Cool/Warm air does
not come out of the
air conditioner.
t
Check if the set te m perature is higher(during Cool m ode)/
lower(during Heat m ode) than the current te m perature. Press the
Temp + or - button on the re m ote controller to change the set
te m perature.
t Check if the Air is blocked b y dirt. If there is a lot of dust on
the m frequentl y .
t Check if the outdoor unit is covered or installed near the obstacle.
t
Check if the air conditioner is operating in defrost m ode. When the
ice for m ed in winter or the outdoor te m perature is too low, the
air conditioner operates in defrost m ode auto m aticall y . In defrost
m ode, indoor fan stops and war m air does not co m e out.

If the doors or windows are open, it m a y cause bad cooling
(heating) perfor m ance.
Close the doors and windows.
t
Check if the air conditioner has just been turned on after stopping
cooling or heating operation. In this case, just a fan will run to
protect the outdoor unit co
m pressor.
t
Check if the pipe length is too long. When the pipe length exceeds
m axi m u m allowable pipe length, cooling (heating) perfor m ance
m a y decrease.
