Base construction and installation of the indoor · outdoor unit
Installing indoor unit
1. Open the air inlet grille in the front and unscrew 4 bolts on the bottom of
the product.
2. Remove the wooden palette used for product transport.
3. Install the product on an even floor.

Remove the wooden palette used for product transport.
• To prevent vibration and noise, fix the outdoor unit firmly and check that base ground is hard enough without any
sloped surface. (Fix the outdoor unit with M10 bolts, nuts, and washers.)
• Appropriate length of the bolt must be over 20mm from the surface of the base ground.
• When constructing base ground, it must support the outdoor unit within below dimensions.
• When the base ground construction is completed, install anti-vibration pad or frame between the base ground and the
bottom of the outdoor unit to prevent the vibration noise from transferring through the base ground.

Anchor bolt fixing dimensions
Fix the unit on a flat, rigid floor using the anchor bolt. (Anchor bolt: M10 x 4 points – separately purchased)

When tightening the anchor bolt
• Tighten the rubber washer to prevent the outdoor unit bolt connection part from
corroding.

• Check the strength of the roof to install the outdoor unit and make sure to have a waterproof floor of the roof.
• Make sure that a proper drainage system has been put in place around the outdoor unit. (Condensed or defrost
water may be generated during outdoor unit operation.)
