Push the CPU lever out slightly to remove and then
tilt
the bracket upward and take out the CPU.

Be careful not to touch the pins inside the socket.
If the pins are damaged, the CPU cannot be installed.

Put in the new CPU. When inserting the CPU, you must make
sure the socket and CPU pin locations match.
Insert the socket and CPU according to the mark.

Lower the bracket and then push the CPU lever downward
until it locks in place.

Put the cooling fan in the correct direction and then screw in
the 4 screws.
Be careful to arrange cables so they do not become caught
•
under the CD drive bracket.
You cannot close the cover if cables are not arranged
correctly.
You cannot fix the cooling fan in place if its direction is
•
incorrect.

Connect the cooling fan power connector and then close the
computer cover.
The CPU replacement is complete.
