9 Removal
The work described in this section is only to
be performed by personnel appropriately
qualified to carry out such tasks.

explosive atmosphere.

Observe EN 60079-14 (VDE 0165,
Part 1) for work on the converter in
potentially explosive atmospheres.
Î
Work in potentially explosive
atmospheres must only be performed by
personnel who has undergone special
training or instructions or who is
authorized to work on explosion-
protected devices in hazardous areas.
Removing the converter
Î
Make sure that the converter has been
put out of operation properly (see the
'Decommissioning' section).
Î
Remove air lines.
Î
Disconnect the electrical wires.
Î
Rail-mounting unit:
Remove the converter from the top-hat
rail.
Field unit:
Unscrew the four screws for wall mount-
ing on the bracket.
