Servicing
ing torques lead to parts wearing out more
quickly. Parts that are too loose may cause
leakage.
Î
Observe the specified tightening torques
(see 'Tightening torques' in Annex).
The regulator was checked by SAMSON
before it left the factory.
− Certain test results certified by SAMSON
lose their validity when the regulator is
opened. Such testing includes seat leakage
and leak tests.
−
The product warranty becomes void if ser-
vice or repair work not described in these
instructions is performed without prior
agreement by SAMSON's After-sales Ser-
vice.
−
Only use original spare parts by
SAMSON, which comply with the original
specifications.
SAMSON's After-sales Service can support
you in drawing up an inspection and test
plan for your plant.

Preparing the valve for
service work

to have them ready for the service work.
2. Put the regulator out of operation (see
the 'Decommissioning' section).

− Clean or replace the filter in the pilot
valve (see section 9.3.1).
9.2
Installing the regulator

putting the valve back into operation are
met.
9.3 Service work
Î
Before performing any service work,
preparations must be made to the regu-

Î
After all service work is completed, check
the regulator before start-up (see infor-
