Absolutely avoid spraying solvents in closed
environments. It is also recommended to keep
the spray gun away from the pump in order to
prevent vapours from coming into contact with
the electrical motor.

Make sure the product to be used is compatible
with the materials employed for manufacturing
the equipment
(stainless steel and aluminium)
.

the product.

Point the guns (
J13
) at a container keeping (
J14
) and keep
pressed the trigger lever
(so as to drain the oil inside)
till a
clean solvent comes out.
•
Eliminate any solvent which remains within the tubes by
activating the guns.
•
As soon as the pump begins to run dry, turn the handle (
J9
)
to minimum to stop the pump.
•
Stop the combustion engine.
•
At this point the machine is ready. If water-based paints are
to be used, after the wash with solvent wash the tank again
with soap and water, then rinse with clean water
(repeating
the previously described procedures)
.
•
Insert the guns trigger lock and assemble the nozzle.
•
Open the tap (
J12
) of the manual guns.
PREPARATION OF THE PAINT
• Make sure the product is suitable to be used with a spray
gun.
• Mix and filter the product before using it. For filtration use
CLOSE-MESH
(ref. 214)
and
LARGE-MESH
(ref. 215)
LARIUS METEX
braids
.
• Fill the tank
(
J11
)
with the paint.
Never use products containing halogen hydrocarbons
(as methyle-
ne chloride)
. If these products come into contact with aluminium
parts of the equipment, can provoke dangerous chemical reactions
with risk of explosion.
