Other tools and accessories required:
The tools listed below are recommended for installation and maintenance of the equipment:
• Flathead screwdriver,
• Hex key n°3,
• Pin driver,
• Fine brush.
5.1.1. Operating instructions
Before any intervention, respect the health and safety instructions see § 1 page 6 .
• Lock the gun trigger.
• Connect the fluid hose from the gun to the pump fluid outlet.
• Connect the pump to the ground.
• Connect the air equipment to the air system (clean air: maximum 6 bar / 87 psi).
• Install a filter, if necessary.
• Connect all pipes.
• Ensure that the first start-up of the pump in the installation area is carried out by an authorized person.
Rinsing in solvent
• Dip the suction rod into the container of the appropriate paint rinsing solvent.
• Increase the air pressure at the pump inlet so that the solvent flows from the suction rod.
• Direct the gun at the inside of the container.
Unlock and trigger the gun.
• Gradually turn on the air regulator until the pump begins to beat at a slow rate.
When the fluid comes out evenly, release the trigger.
Material priming
• Remove the suction rod from the solvent container.
Dip it into the container of material to be sprayed.
• Point the gun at the material container.
Trigger the gun until the fluid comes out evenly.
Working
• Lock the gun trigger to install the correct flat tip, reversible tip or Skill™ tip for the job (select tip from tip chart).
• Adjust the regulator to obtain the desired pressure and fluid flow.
