MAINTENANCE
Checking the engine oil level
Start the engine and allow it to run for few minutes; then switch the engine
off, wait for about one minute, then check the oil level.
Pull the dipstick out, wipe it
with a clean, lint-free cloth,
reinsert it and pull it out
once again to read the oil
level.
If the level lies between the

n o t c h e s
o n
t h e
dispstick, it is correct.
If the oil requires topping
up, unscrew the oil filler cap
and top up with oil of the
specified quality to the top
notch on the dipstick.
Changing the engine oil
NOTE:
Take care when draining oil from the engine sump, as hot oil can
cause serious burns.
Collect and store used oil in suitable containers before taking it to an
authorized collection centre.
