Operation
5.7.1.
Standard mower design
lower the mower until the sliding discs have come to contact with the ground,
set the safety breakaway device in working position (according to item 4.8a),
open the locking pawl

This enable the mower to follow the ground,
connect PTO shaft to both the tractor and the mower,
slowly engage the PTO clutch and wait until the cutting unit reaches its rated speed,
engage tractor’s gear and drive slowly into the grass - field.

5.7.2.
Mower design with hydraulic lifting (optional equipment)
Set the safety breakaway device in working position (according to item 4.8a),
open the shut-off valve on the hydraulic cylinder (
Fig. 16
),
move the cutting unit into the working position,
lower the mower until the sliding discs have come into contact with the ground,
connect PTO shaft to both the tractor and the mower,
slowly engage PTO clutch and wait until the cutting unit reaches its rated speed,
engage tractor’s gear and drive slowly into the grass - field.
