SILAGE ROLLER

People should not be in the area below the suspended load unless it has been secured against 
movement by suitable supports. 

 

If people enter the effective range of operation of the machine, they must be informed immediately 
of the dangers and the prevention of further hazards by the operator(s) by stopping the work. 

 

When work stoppages occur (regardless of the time duration), the machine is to be placed in the 
parking position and secured against unintended and unauthorized movement.

Warning decals and other labels 

NOTE:  

Always keep the warning decals in a legible condition.  

Warning decals identify danger points on the machine, and warn of residual dangers that can 

occur constantly or unexpectedly 

All warning decals cover both fields.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

 

5.1.

 

Preparatory measures 

 

Only conduct maitenance or work on the machine while wearing safety gloves, to protect against 
injuries from sharp edges. 

 

While working around or on the device, you must wear appropriate safety work shoes. 

 

Prior to each use carry out a visual and then operational function check of the machine, and to 
indentify any missing or worn components.  If needed have any maintenance carried out by trained 
personel. 

 

Operating the machine with missing, damaged, or worn safety shields is not permitted. 

 

Only  loan  this  machine  to  people  who  are  familliar  with  it’s  operation,  and  this  model.    Always 
provide the operator’s manual when loaning this device.

 

 

Do not carry out any technical modifications to this machine. 

 

Compliance with the maintenance and cleaning plans prescribed by the manufacturer in Chapter 
6.2 "Maintenance" must be followed. 

 

Maintenance and servicing work may only be carried out by appropriately authorized personel.
