Save the Original Box and Packaging

The original box should always be used if it is necessary to ship the machine back to the manufacturer.
Master Sports is not liable for damage caused by improper packaging on return shipments.  New box
fees will apply to all       machines returned with non-original boxes and/or packaging.

Storage

Store the machine in a clean, dry location.  Extreme temperatures and other conditions can affect the

machine’s electronic board.  Never store the machine outside. Exposure to rain and snow will shorten the
life of the machine.

Important Safety Information

The SAM™ ball machine is specifically designed to throw tennis balls at a high rate of speed. To avoid

any bodily harm, please observe the following precautions at all times:

WARNING:

Do not reach or look into the ball exit hole without first turning the main power off and

only after the wheels come to a complete stop.

WARNING

: Do not place hands or foreign objects into the ball hopper while the power is on.

WARNING

: Never stand closer than 10 meters (35 feet) in front on the ball machine when power is

on. Balls exit at various angles, 0-45 degrees vertical, and from 14 degrees left to 14 degrees right.

WARNING:

Only use standard size tennis balls with this unit.

WARNING:

Use caution with small children in the area.

WARNING:

Do not use this machine while it is raining or in standing water.  Do not use wet tennis

balls.

Positioning

Position the ball machine at the center of the baseline with the ball exit hole directly facing the center

of the opposite baseline. When the machine is in position, engage the brakes on the front wheels.

NOTE: To ensure the proper positioning, turn the machine on speed 11 and program shot 1 to position

4. Shoot a ball until the ball lands on the service hash. The ball will have a + 1 foot deviation from the

service hash. If the ball fails to hit the service hash, adjust the rear of the machine until the ball lands at
the service hash + 1 foot.
