1.1 Code entry
The electronic lock works with a six digit code. You can programme a second opening code. Each input is
confirmed by a beep and the green light illuminates. The ENTER button is always confirmed by a double beep
and the green light illuminates twice.
After entering a valid code you will hear a double beep and the green light illuminates twice. When entering an
invalid code you will hear a triple beep and the red light illuminates three times. Wait until you hear a beep and
see the green light illuminate before trying to open the safe again.
1.2 Opening the safe
Enter successively *, a six digit code (factory code 123456), ENTER and unlock the door within six seconds.
Turn the knob to the open position or move the handle down.
1.3 Closing and locking the safe
Close the door completely and turn the knob to the closed position until it locks. Models with a handle lock
automatically lock when the door is closed (see figure 2, page 19). The lock is secured. Check by trying to turn
the handle back.
1.4 Blocking
If incorrect codes are entered three times in a row, the keypad blocks automatically for five minutes. The red
light flashes every ten seconds during that period. Entering a wrong code twice after the blocking period will
start a new delay time of five minutes.
1.5 Safety reference
All codes have to be securely stored. Do not use personal data, such as birthdays and telephone numbers as
your personal code. Change the factory code before you start using the safe.
