Troubleshooting
AS20WRF/BRF Thermostat – Error Codes
and Corrective Actions
Errors are displayed on the AS20WRF/BRF Thermostat as shown.
• The first two digits (01-01 in the photo) indicate the number of
errors present. If more than 1 error is present, pressing the Up
arrow
will show the next error.
• The second two digits (01-01 in the photo) indicate the error
code. These codes along with descriptions and troubleshooting
steps are listed below.

Communication link failure
SG888ZB Gateway
Is the gateway powered with either red or blue solid LED?
AC10RF Coordinator
Is the coordinator powered with solid red LED?

Floor sensor overheated
• Is the floor too warm? Adjust water supply temp .
• Is the floor colder than set temp? Replace sensor

Floor sensor open
• If a floor sensor is attached to S1/S2, check wiring
• If no floor sensor is attached, change function d03 to 0 (See page 7 .3)

Floor sensor short
Check for wire insulation failure in floor sensor wiring

Lost link with AKL-RF Wiring Center
Is the AKL Wiring Center powered and the network status light on constant?
If the light is blinking, cycle the power to the Wiring Center and pair it with the system .

Lost link with ARV10RFM Actuator
Is the ARV10RFM Actuator powered with the LED off?
If the light is blinking, perform the pairing procedure listed in section 4 .

Lost link with AX10RF (RX1) Receiver
Is the AX10RF Receiver powered with the Auto/Manual backlight solid red?
If the light is blinking, perform the pairing procedure .

Lost link with AX10RF (RX2) Receiver
Is the AX10RF Receiver powered with the Auto/Manual backlight solid red?
If the light is blinking, perform the pairing procedure .

Zone 1 lost link with Wiring Center*
Check to be sure that the wiring center is powered, and the network status light is on .
- If the network status light is flashing, perform the
pairing procedure listed in section 4 .
- Check that the AS20WRF/BRF Zone Thermostat is operating
and no other error codes appear .
- Replace Thermostat if necessary .
