Appearance inspection
Step 1
Check whether the outer package and anti-vibration package are damaged. In case of no damage,
store the outer package for future use. Continue inspection according to the following steps.
Step 2
Unpack the instrument and check whether the host and accompany articles are damaged.
Step 3
Check the above articles according to the requirements.
Step 4
Do not power on the instrument if the outer package is damaged or the instrument or
accompanying article is damaged or inappropriate. Contact our service consultation center at the
service consultation hotline provided in the guide. We will rapidly repair or replace the instrument or
articles, depending on the actual situation.
Caution
Handling:
The instrument and packing box are heavy and should be handled by two people with care.
2.1.2
Instrument placement and measurement
In order to ensure normal functions of S3602 series vector network analyzer, pay attention to the following items:
The operation location should meet the requirements of the operating environment and heat dissipation.
Take appropriate measures of electrostatic protection. For details, refer to “3.1.1.2 Environmental
Requirements” of the User Manual.
The operating requirements of the desktop instrument should be met. The instrument can be horizontally
placed on the workbench with anti-static pad, or supported with legs.

Status and Location” of the User Manual.
Caution
Pay attention to the following items while placing the instrument:
In order to ensure the instrument stability and personal safety, place the instrument in a solid and flat place,
such as anti-static workbench.
Do not move the instrument or operate or place any article under the instrument after the instrument is set.
