Do not wrap the power cord tightly around the appliance as this may cause the insulation 

to weaken and split particularly where the cord enters the unit. 

 

To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not immerse or expose the unit and/or the power 

cord to water or any other liquid other than that necessary for the correct operation of the 

product. 

 

Never immerse the unit in water or any other liquid for cleaning purposes. 

 

Do not use the appliance while bathing or showering. 

 

Do not place the unit where it can fall or be pulled into a bath or sink. 

 

Never block the air openings on this appliance or place it on a soft surface such as a bed 

or couch. Keep openings free of dust, lint or hair etc. 

 

Do not operate the massager under a blanket or pillow. Excessive heating can occur and 

cause fire, shock or injury to persons. 

 

Do not attempt to stand in or on the massager. Use only when in a seated position. 

 

Remove the plug from the socket by gripping the plug. Do not pull on the cord to 

disconnect the massager from the mains. 

 

Always switch off the massager and unplug when not in use or before 

assembling/disassembling parts as well as before cleaning. 

 

Ensure that the cord or extension cord is not in a position where it can be pulled on 

inadvertently or tripped over. 

 

If it is necessary to use an extension lead, ensure that the lead is suited to the power 

consumption of the foot massager to avoid overheating of the extension cord, appliance 

or plug point.
