NOTE: To stop the brewing cycle at any time, press the Ground

Coffee Brew Button. Be sure to keep the cup in place until the

end of the brew cycle so to catch any excess drips.

8. When the brew cycle is complete, the Ground Coffee Brew Button will

stop flashing and the Coffee Maker will shut off.

9. Wait for the Coffee Maker to cool before removing used coffee

grounds as they remain hot following the brew cycle. Press the

Release Button on the front of the Coffee Maker, carefully remove the

coffee grounds and discard. Lower the Top Lid.

CARE AND CLEANING

1.  Unplug the Coffee Maker and allow it cool before cleaning.

2.  It is recommended to check the Drip Tray regularly for excess water or

coffee. Empty the Drip Tray and wipe it clean using a damp cloth.

Use extra care when removing or emptying the Drip Tray to prevent

 spilling.

3.  Remove used coffee capsules or coffee grounds from the Chamber.

4.  Wipe the outside surfaces of the Coffee Maker with a damp cloth,

  then dry thoroughly.

NEVER use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaning pads.

NEVER immerse the Coffee Maker in water or any other liquid.

5.  All servicing, other than cleaning, should be performed by an

authorized service representative. See Warranty section.

Descaling

Over a period of time, minerals and calcium found in water will

accumulate in your Coffee Maker and may affect optimal operation.

The appliance should be cleaned approximately every three (3) months,

depending on water conditions.  Use distilled vinegar in the following

manner to remove the mineral deposits:

1.  Fill the Water Reservoir to the maximum Water Line (14 oz) with

equal parts of white vinegar and cold water. Close the Top lid.

2.  Place a large cup on the Drip Try beneath the Brew Spout.

NOTE: ENSURE THERE IS NO GROUND COFFEE OR CAPSULES

IN THE BREW CHAMBER WHEN DESCALING.

3.  Press the Capsule Brew & Ground Coffee Brew Buttons at the same

time. Both Buttons will illuminate. The Coffee Maker will begin

pumping water with intermittent pauses in between cycles. There

are 5 cycles of approximately 30 seconds each. Once all 5 cycles are

completed the Coffee Maker will turn OFF.

4.  Allow the unit to rest. Discard the liquid from the coffee cup. Use

extreme caution as the contents may  be hot.
