Coffee leaks out from
lid of carafe during the
brewing cycle

The carafe is not 
positioned properly 
on the warming plate

Align the center of the
carafe with the opening
in the Filter Basket
Holder

The coffee drips too
slowly or overflows
from the edge of the
Filter Basket Holder
OR 
Coffee grind residue in
carafe

The coffee grinds are
too fine. 

The filter is dirty and
the coffee cannot drip
through

Use coffee grinds 
specifically for drip 
coffee makers. 

Clean the Filter in warm
soapy water then rinse
with clean water. 

The coffee maker does
not work 

The coffee maker may
have been plugged in
without water and the
safety fuse has tripped 

There is no water. 

Allow the coffee maker
to cool down then retry
the coffee maker.  If it
still does not work 
contact the service
department.
