APPLICATION
The two-way bass-reflex active speaker is recommended primarily for entertainment and party use. It can also be placed on a stand (mounting screw
not included) or easily carried thanks to its retractable handle and castors. Its built-in battery allows it to be operated without mains power. It can be
connected directly to external equipment such as: mobile phone, computer, CD/DVD player, musical instrument, microphone... In addition to the
speakers, the unit includes an amplifier and an FM/BT/MP3 multimedia player. Includes remote control and mains charger.
CHARGING THE BATTERY
The battery must be charged before first use. Connect the supplied charger, and only the charger, to the sound box (
DC 9V
), then to the mains and leave
the sound box switched off. While charging, the
CHARGE LED
next to the charger socket will light up. When the automatic charging is complete, the
LED will turn off. Then remove the charger and start using the device. The charging time for a fully discharged battery is approximately 7.5 hours. This
provides approximately 16 hours of operation from the internal battery at medium volume. This will depend on the volume setting, the mode selected
and the ambient temperature. The test was conducted with radio listening at room temperature. It can be charged while in use, but this will increase the
charging time and may cause additional noise.
● After charging and use, switch off (VOLUME/POWER rotary switch) and unplug the device!
● Only leave plugged in after a full charge if the device is in continuous use. Charging may occasionally cause noise in the speakers and may
degrade the quality of radio reception. This equipment is designed to operate on battery power, recharging after use is recommended.
● When the unit is switched off, the automatic battery charger will function. Therefore remove the charger after charging is complete.
● For longer battery life, keep the battery charged even when not in use!
● The battery used is of the lithium-ion type. It does not require maintenance. At the end of its life it can be replaced by a professional after removing
the control panel. The cover is secured by screws.
COMMISSIONING
Make all connections with the system disconnected from the power supply! Make sure that both the sound box and the devices to be connected are
switched off. Make sure that the connections and polarity of the connectors are as specified. Keep the microphone cable and the audio connection
cable away from the mains cable.
Switch it on using the
VOLUME/POWER
rotary switch. If you have previously switched off using the remote control instead of this switch, the last
function you were listening to will be returned when you use the remote control. Otherwise, it is BT mode. Switching off is not done with the remote
control, but with the
VOLUME/POWER
switch.
● Switching off with the remote control does not switch off the power, only the FM/BT/MP3 module!
● When turned off with the VOLUME/POWER switch, the battery charging mode remains active.
● To disconnect the charger, unplug the charger after use!
VOLUME CONTROL AND FUNCTION SWITCHING
Volume can be controlled with the
VOLUME/POWER
rotary switch or the
VOL+/VOL-
buttons on the remote control.
The function to be operated can be selected by pressing the
MODE/LED SW
button (or
MODE
on the remote control):
LINE (AUX) – BLUE – FM
RADIO – USB – microSD - LINE…
The available multimedia functions are: connection of external equipment (LINE / AUX INPUT), connection of microphone (MIC IN), wireless BT
connection (BLUE), USB/microSD MP3 player. The available features may differ when using different signal sources. No function is available for an
unconnected device. For example MP3 mode without USB or microSD storage connected.
