USING THE SPEAKERS
The player has two high-quality unfolding speakers. The advantage of this design is that the speakers are protected while
you are carrying the player in your bag or pocket. Never touch the membrane or rubber edge of the speakers with your
hand, as that can reduce their lifetime. If you are not listening to the player through the earphones, carefully unfold the
speakers on both sides before turning on the player. You can do this by holding on to the two small rims at the front, or by
pressing the rear part of the speakers’ cover. Once the speakers are fully extended after hitting a small bump, do not force
them or try to open them any further.
TURNING THE PRODUCT ON AND OFF
Slide the switch (

) downwards. To turn off, slide back into the upper position.
• When the player is turned on the LED on the front panel is lit up in green, and the display’s backlight comes on in seven
different colors after each other. Remove the protective foil from the display and buttons before use.
• If no USB/SD device is connected, the last active FM station will come on after about 12 seconds.
• If you previously played MP3 tracks, then playback will start with the last active track.
• If both a USB stick and an SD card is connected at the same time, then playback will resume from the USB device, even
if you were last listening to the SD card’s tracks or the FM receiver.
• When you turn on the player, it remembers the last volume level.
• If MP3 playback begins after turning on the player, then the factory default NORMAL equalizer settings and the RPT
ALL mode will be active.
SETTING THE VOLUME
Turn the (
1
) volume control knob upwards to increase the volume. There are three ways to adjust the volume. Besides the
button, you can also adjust the volume by pressing and holding the back/next buttons at the front. You can see the current
volume on the digital display. The third option is to use the remote control’s
+/-
buttons.
• After setting the volume to a lower level using the remote control or the buttons under the display, then you cannot reach
the maximum volume using the volume control on the front panel. Keep this in mind when adjusting the volume with the
control on the front panel.
• After plugging in the earphones, set the speakers’ volume to the minimum using the buttons on the front panel, then set
the earphones’ volume to the desired level using the back/next buttons or the remote control.
• When plugging an external ampli
fi
er into the earphones socket, you can adjust its input signal level in the same way.
SELECTING THE PLAYBACK SOURCE
The product can play audio from three sources: FM receiver, UDB storage device (pendrive, MP3 player, multimedia player
etc.), or an SD/SDHC/MMC memory card. The player selects the source in a semi-automatic way.
FM receiver: the display shows frequency (in MHz) of the current station, and the number of the stored frequency slot, in
case you have stored the frequency before.
SD/SDHC/MMC: insert the card into the slot with a fi rm movement. The angled corner of the SD/SDHC/MMC card should
be at the top in the front when looking at the player from the back, with the connectors visible on the right. Do not try to
force the card into the slot in any other position. To remove the card, press it in fi rmly, then pull it out of the slot. When a
card is inserted, the display shows DISK1.
USB: you can only plug in a USB stick in one way. If it is stuck, turn it upside down and try again; do not force it into the slot.
When a USB stick is inserted, the display shows DISK2, and the USB symbol appears in the bottom row.
• If no USB/SD device is connected when you turn on the player, the last active FM station will come on after about 12
seconds.
• If you previously played MP3 tracks, then playback will start with the last active track.
• If both a USB stick and an SD card is connected at the same time, then playback will resume from the USB device, even
if you were last listening to the SD card’s tracks or the FM receiver.
• If both a USB stick and an SD card is connected at the same time, then you can switch between them by pressing A
