The engine crankcase capacity is 0.6 l.
Crankcase oil filling:
- Place the machine on a flat, horizontal and clear surface.
- Unscrew the oil filler cap
- Insert 0.6 l. of oil through the filling tube.
- Wait 1 minute for the oil to fully lower into the engine crankcase.
- Clean the dipstick of the oil cap with a cloth.
- Insert the dipstick and screw on the oil cap.
- Unscrew the cap again and check the mark that the oil has left on the dipstick. The signal left by
the oil must be between the minimum and maximum marks.
- If the mark is below the minimum add a little more oil and check again. - If the mark is above the
maximum you will have to remove oil from the crankcase. To do this, tilt the mower on its side, so
that the air filter is facing up, and let out some oil (Put a container at the end of the tube to prevent
the oil from spilling on the machine or the floor).
5.4. COMMISSIONING
5.4.1. PRE-COMMISSIONING CHECKPOINTS
The machine must be prepared and used according to the following instructions: Before starting
the engine, check that the inlet hopper is completely empty. Otherwise, clean the inlet hopper with
a stick or long-range object.
If the blades hit a foreign object (anything except wood) or if the machine starts making abnormal
noises and/or vibrates abnormally, stop the motor so that the blades stop rotating. Take the
machine to a service for repair
Never put your hands in the inlet hopper, until the machine has been turned off and the blades
have stopped rotating. Pieces of firewood that get stuck transversely in the inlet hopper should
only be removed when the blades have stopped rotating. Pieces of firewood that get stuck
