communication system in future by selecting the volume button
and then using the activation command (e.g. "Hey Google", "Alexa"
or "Siri"), and can be used for calls, playing music and for weather
reports etc.
9 | Playing music
9.1 | Play/Pause
To play or pause the desired music using voice control, for
instance, press the power button for 1 second.
9.2 | Next track
To jump to the next track during music playback, press the power
button 2x briefly in succession.
9.3 | Previous track
If you wish to re-start a track from the beginning or listen to the
previous track, press the volume button 2x to jump back in the
playlist.
10 | Pairing with another communication system
for use as a two-way intercom
In order to talk to the pillion passenger or with a second rider while
you are on the road, the saito Communication System can be
connected to another saito Communication System for use as a
two-way intercom.
10.1 | Pairing procedure
In order to pair two communication systems with each other, both
must be switched on. You then have to press the volume button for
2 seconds on both devices. A voice says "Pairing" and the red and
blue indicator lights flash alternately. Press the volume button once
more briefly on one of the two communication systems. The blue
indicator light then flashes quickly on that device. Once the pairing
procedure has been completed successfully, the blue indicator
light goes out and the blue indicator light on the second device
flashes slowly. Then press the power button on the first device
(no indicator light lights up) and the devices have then been set up
as a two-way intercom.
Devices which have already been paired once do not need
to perform this procedure again. Press the power button
briefly on one of the two devices while they are switched
on and the connection will be re-established.
10.2 | Receiving a call
If the communication system is also paired with a smartphone
and a call is received, it automatically has priority. The two-way
intercom function is disabled and the call can be taken or rejected,
as applicable, as described in sections 8.2 and 8.3 respectively.
The two-way intercom function is restored once the call has been
ended.
11 | Reset
To reset the communication system to the factory settings,
you must press the power button and the volume button
simultaneously and 2x in succession while the device is switched
on. The red and blue indicator lights light up together 3x and a
voice says "Power Off".
12 | Storage
When the communication system is not in use, it is best to store it
in the original packaging in a place where it is protected from dust
and vibrations. The temperature should be between 12°C and 25°C
with a relative air humidity of 0–80% (non-condensing). Higher or
lower temperatures could have a negative effect on the service life
of the rechargeable battery.
