Removal 

Procedure: 

1.  Remove the flag and disassemble the two flag rods. 
2.  Release and remove the back-up safety strap from around 

the bicycle frame. 

3.  Pull the rubber tab off the lower end of the pin.  
4.  Pull the pin completely out of the hitch.  
5.  Pull the hitch off the hitch plate.  
6.  Tip the carrier backward so it is resting on its back. 
7.  Press down the button, of the hitch arm, with your right 

hand.  

8.  While the button is pressed down, twist the hitch arm all the 

way down (toward the floor of the carrier).  

9.  Pull the hitch arm out. 
 

 

Adjusting the Fit of the Hitch Arm 

The receiver has 4 bolts and nuts for fine tuning the size of 
its opening. 

 

Procedure: 

1.  Tighten (or loosen) each screw 1/4 a turn then test fit with 

the hitch arm until desired fit is achieved.

You must attach the back-up safety strap before use.

Do not install any device on the bicycle that may come in 
contact with the hitch plate, hitch, hitch arm or any other 
part of the carrier. This includes kickstands and other 
parking devices.

When storing the hitch arm in the cargo compartment, make 
sure it is secured well and there is no chance it will come in 
contact with the wheel.

The Strolling/Jogging Kit 

The Strolling/Jogging Kit is supplied as standard with your 
carrier. 

Installation 

Procedure: 

1.  Tip the carrier backward so it is resting on the handlebar.
