Ignition Switch
Do not turn the ignition off or pull out the key
while the car is in motion; this will cause the
steering lock to engage, making it impossible
to steer the car.

The ignition switch is located on the right side of the
steering column and uses the following sequence to initiate
the ignition and start the engine.
Position 0

• The key can be inserted or removed.
• Lock the steering wheel when turn it left or right
towards after removing the key.
Position 1

ACC

• The engine is stopped, and the key could not be
removed.
• Some electrical equipments and accessories can be
operated, such as wipers, sun roof, etc.
Position 2

(
ON
)

)
• All instruments and electrical circuits are operational.
• The engine runs.
Position 3

START
)
)
)
• Start engine.
When the engine is started, some
electrical equipment will be isolated during cranking.
• Release the key immediately after the engine is started,
and the ignition switch will return to position 2
automatically.
Note: Before starting the engine, ensure that the
gear lever is in the N for Automated Mechanical
Transmission (AMT), or the gear lever is in neutral
position for Manual Transmission (MT).
