If the handset is on or off its charger, the backlighting is deactivated and the current time
is displayed.

Installing the phone

Plug the phone cable into the socket of your base.

Connect the other end of the cable with the phone wall socket or with the Gateway.

Connect the power adapter cord to the socket on the bottom of the base.

Note

Once the permanent colour has been selected, no other effect is
displayed and the charger behaves as a lamp.

Note

If time display is deactivated, neither the time nor the indication for
answering machine nor for voice mail are displayed.
