You can increase the paper holding capacity of your printer by installing an optional second/third
paper cassette unit. Each paper cassette unit can hold up to 500 sheets of paper. The second and
third paper cassette units are interchangeable and can increase paper-holding capacity to 1250
sheets when installed together.

Take the paper cassette unit out of the shipping box

Remove the plastic bag and all shipping materials.
+
Turn the printer off and then disconnect the power cord and the scanner interface cable
from the printer.
