7.2 CONNECTING THE ETHERNET TO THE STUB
Note:
the terminal and the Ethernet cable are clearly color coded (yellow).
Safety instructions reminder:
Select a power supply socket in compliance with the general safety instructions given in section 1 of this document.

Carry out the following operations:

Connect the stub to the Ethernet:

Connect plug B to the Ethernet

Connect the other end of the cord to socket

on the stub.

Connect the power adapter

to the incoming power supply socket.
•
Use the link provided to attach the power supply input cable and prevent unwanted disconnections (see
section "attaching the stub").
Plugs B and C: These links establish SELV circuits (Safe Extra Low Voltage according to standard EN 60950) and
must be interconnected with equipment whose ports are powered by similar circuits.
Socket G: This link establishes SELV circuits (Safe Extra Low Voltage) and must be interconnected with equipment
whose ports are powered by similar circuits.
These connections are to be made with the device switched off.
