Cremona’s Novice Violin Collection minimizes the single
biggest deterrent for many aspiring musicians: the cost of getting
started. While many suppliers cut the price of their entry-level
instruments by using laminated or pressed woods, all of
Cremona’s Novice Collection instruments feature handcarved
solid maple and spruce construction. Maximum tone produc-
tion and a pleasing tone quality are achieved with properly
hand-graduated inner and outer contours of the top and back,
hand-fitted bass bars and sound posts, and clean interior work-
manship. Each instrument is carefully crafted to be visually as
well as aurally pleasing.
