Deploying Sentinel System Driver
When to Deploy?
Sentinel System Driver is the USB device driver for using the hardware keys.
It must be redistributed to all customers and distributors.
Where to Deploy?
The Sentinel System Driver must be deployed on the system where the hard-
ware key is attached (whether stand-alone or network key). For platforms
supported and installation path, refer to “Sentinel System Driver” on
page 19.
How to Deploy?
You can use the Sentinel Protection Installer to deploy the Sentinel System
Driver and/or Sentinel Keys Server (including related items like, the Sentinel
Keys Server configuration file and Sentinel Keys License Monitor).
For Windows
The Sentinel Protection Installer provides various installation options,
including the ones that use Windows Installer merge modules and MSI. The
developers who create Windows Installer-based installation programs can

Needed only when .NET enhancement
option is selected during protection.
