1. Sun Safety

Too much exposure to ultraviolet (UV) solar radiation can lead to skin cancer or other UV exposure related medical

conditions. The use of a shade device is one of many measures that can be taken to avoid the harmful effects of solar UV

radiation.
The supplementary sun cover of your Infant Carrier Cover has a UPF 30+ rating and blocks over 95% of harmful UV radiation.

It provides shade and protection from direct overhead sunlight. Even on a cloudy day, up to 80% of the sun‘s rays can pass

through the clouds.
Since UV radiation may be transmitted through the mesh side walls of your Infant Carrier Cover, whose UPF rating is not UPF

30+, you should always combine

the use of the supplementary sun cover with other UV radiation protective measures to achieve maximum sun protection

for your baby.
UPF rated fabric should not be used longer than 12 months as wear and tear of the fabric can affect its UPF rating over

time. Be sure to check your Infant Carrier Cover regularly for wear and tear that may affect its UPF rating.
