Drill a 4mm pilot hole for each of the holes.  Open the 6 mounting holes to
16mm  using  a  stepdrill.    Open  the  front  hole  to  86mm  using  a  holesaw.
This  should  be  held  parallel  to  the  bodywork  while  cutting.    After  drilling
and cutting, deburr all holes to leave a smooth edge.

4.

Screw  the  6  stainless  steel  studs  into  the  relevant  inserts  in  the  back  of
the snorkel.  Bolt the upper mounting bracket into position on the snorkel
using 3, 6 x 12mm bolts and washers.  Sit the snorkel on the car and mark
the bracket position on the ‘A’ pillar.  Remove the snorkel from the car and
remove the bracket from the snorkel.  Hold the bracket in position on the
“A”  pillar  and  mark  the  mounting  hole  positions.    Drill  these  4  holes  to
8mm.

5.

Paint  all  holes  to  prevent  rust.    Insert  the  plastic  body  clips  into  the  “A”
pillar holes.

6.

Sit the alloy casting on the outer side of the inner guard hole.  (The snout
of  the  casting  should  be  pointing  towards  the  large  snorkel  hole).    Mark
the boom bottle mounting hole positions on the casting.  Drill these holes
to 8mm.  Bolt the casting into position, using the small foam gasket to seal
between the casting and the bodywork.

7.

Place the rubber hose on the casting snout.  Screw the mounting bracket
to the vehicle using the 13mm S/T screws.  Sit the snorkel in position and
secure  using  appropriate  hardware.    Clamp  the  hose  to  the  casting  and
snorkel snouts.

8.

Refit the air cleaner assembly to the car.  It is essential to seal all joints
with silicone to ensure a waterproof seal.  Refit the guard liner.  Place the
air ram on top of the snorkel and secure with the clamp.
