1. Intended Use
: A handpiece driven by air pressure to remove teeth and etc.
3. How to connect each part
Please read the instruction manual carefully before operation and keep it for future reference.
AIRPIECE ( ATN400, CAB10LN, CAB10LNTi, CAB10LK )
3.1 Airpiece
1)
Mounting (TRAUS ATN400 / TRAUS CAB10LN / TRAUS CAB10LNTi)
① Insert the coupling into the hose and tighten the hose nut.
② Insert the air piece into the coupling.
③ Connect the air piece and the coupling by pulling connection ring
④ Grasp the coupling and connect the air piece and the coupling to the end.
⑤ Check if the air piece is pulled out or not.
2) Isolation
① Pull the connection ring of the coupling and remove the air piece.
(ATN400 / CAB10LN / CAB10LNTi)
② Remove the airpiece while holding the coupling and pulling the airpiece. (CAB10LK)
3.2 Bur
1) Mounting
① Insert the bur
② Press the button on the airpiece head and
connect the bur to the end.
③ Release the button
④ Make sure that the bur is not pulled out
by pulling out
2) Isolation
① Pull out the bur pressing the button on the airpiece head

4. Maintenance
4.1 Cleaning
① Rotate the head in a tap water about 10 seconds with maximum speed to
remove the remains (blood, physiologic saline solution, etc.) and rinse.
② Remove contaminants on the airpiece using a nylon brush after soaking
for 20 minutes in Enzymatic Detergent.
③ Rinse the airpiece using the tap water for 3 minutes to remove Enzymatic Detergent.
④ Wash the airpiece for 10 minutes in the ultrasonic cleaner containing Enzymatic Detergent.
⑤ Rinse the airpiece for 3 minutes in the ultrasonic cleaner containing purified
water repeatedly subjected 3 times. (Change the purified water each time.)
⑥ Wipe using dust-absorbent after the product soaked in alcohol(70%) for 30 seconds.
4.2 Lubrication
① Insert the spray nozzle to hose connection part(the end part of airpiece)
and spray lubricant 2~3 seconds.
4.4 Replace the air turbine cartridge
① Mount the bur on the chuck.
② Loosen the head cap with the head cap wrench.
③ Push the bur from the head to remove the cartridge.
④ Clean the inside of the head.
⑤ Put the Cartridge slowly into the head. Be careful not to damage the ball bearing.
⑥ Lock the head cap with the head cap wrench.
4.5 O-ring exchange <TRAUS CAB10LN/TRAUS CAB10LNTi only>
Replace the O-ring if you notice any water coming out from the exhaust.
If left un-replaced, water may leak from the coupling connection.
Be sure to replace as a set with the spare o-ring of the component.
① Remove the handpiece from the coupling.
② Remove the 'Handle B'.
③ Take out the old O-ring with your fingers and insert the spare O-ring into
the groove. Be careful not to damage the O-ring.
④ Tighten the 'Handle B' firmly to the handpiece.
※ 1 set of O-ring consists of 5 O-rings.
4.6 Cleaning Glass Rod
If dirt or foreign material adheres to the glass rod, wipe it with a cotton swab
dipped in sterilized alcohol.
5. Warranty
SAESHIN guarantees this product for 1 year from invoice date. Product warranty
means that SAESHIN has responsibility for defective material or operation failure.
The product warranty does not cover user’s misuse, wrong installation, inappropriate
maintenance and repair, and normal wear of consumable parts such as cartridge
and bearing. In order for SAESHIN to confirm if the warranty is valid will require
checking the operating condition, environment information, serial number and
stamped invoice. The warranty will be performed as a repair or exchange according
to manufacturer’s analysis of product and judgement.
Misuse and improper handling by users
Dropping the products during installation, movement or use.
If the unit is damaged due to unspecified consumable parts or accessories.
If the product is not repaired by Saeshin or the repair shop designated by Saeshin.
Normal wear of consumable parts.
Damage and failure due to natural disaster.
If the product is disassembled or modified at will.
- Use of any other purpose is prohibited.
- The company did not sterilize the product. Please make sure to sterilize before
operation. (Please refer to the 4.3 Sterilization)
- Do not drop the product or force with strong external shocks.
- Do not disassemble or modify the product.
- Check for vibration, heat, noise and other abnormal symptoms before use.
- If the product operates abnormally, stop immediately and contact the seller for check.
- Do not remove the air hose while the product is rotating.
- Moisture and impurities may cause malfunction of the product.
Please clean and dry with air.
- Make patient safety the top priority when use.
- To maintain it clean, always wipe the product with rubbing alcohol before use.
- Improper use may cause damage to the product. Be sure to use it by a skilled
technician or specialist.

The manufacturer is not responsible for accidents caused by use not in accordance
with the instruction manual.
- The user is responsible for the proper use and maintenance of the product.
- This product should not be disposed with general waste.
※ If the spray is not working well,
clean the spray port using the
cleaning pin as shown below.
※ If there is foreign material around
the clean head hole and it cannot
be removed, use a brush to remove it.
※ The rotation speed varies slightly depending on the direction of rotation
and the shape of the hose used.
※ Coupling: Designed to be compatible with NSK Coupling.

- Lubricate the product after each use.
- When lubrication, please hold the product firmly because
the product can go out by the spray pressure.
- The nozzle tip is not included in a set.

Be sure to check if the product is cleaned, lubricated and sterilized
before using it.

Remove the bur and disassemble the airpiece after checking if the
operation stopped for sure.

Do not use the bur that exceed the maximum length. The maximum
length of the bur is 21mm.

When using the bur, follow the instructions provided by the bur manufacturer.

Do not clean using thinner, benzene, or other solvents.
- Do not forcibly insert the cleaning pin into the spray port or push it tilted.
The injection nozzle may be deformed, which may cause malfunction.
- After washing, perform a visual inspection in a place with sufficient light.
If contamination is found on the surface, please re-clean according to
our cleaning method.
- Replace the cartridge when you feel abnormal vibration, noise or
heat while test or operation.

When cleaning the glass rod, sharp edges may cause scratches on its
surface, which may reduce the light transmittance.

4.3 Sterilization
① Dry the product completely after cleaning.
② Put the product in a sterile bag and seal tightly.
③ Put the sterile bag in the sterilizer and sterilization for 4 minutes with 132℃,
and let it dry for 30 minutes.
- Maximum sterilization number is 250 times.
- Make sure to use the sterilization bag and seal tightly.
- Make sure to dry the applicable products before sterilization.

Sterilizing the product with blood or other remains may cause the
breakage of the product. Therefore, it is necessary to clean the product
before sterilization.
