To increase the digital magnification, press and hold the
Up
Button until the desired digital magnification appears on the
display. This extends the magnification up to 4x beyond what is available with optical magnification. Use the
Down
Button
to decrease the digital magnification.
Ambient light is normally adequate for most circumstances; however, there are times when additional lighting can enhance
the image being viewed. Experiment with both the LED spot lamps and the halo LED on the lens. When using the two LED
lamps, positioning the lights at a low angle gives more texture to the subject, while a higher angle gives a flatter look to the
image.
Using a MicroSD Card for Saving Images
You can save images and videos for review at a later time or export to a computer or other device for viewing.
1.
Insert the MicroSD card into the slot at the top rear of the optical stack.

Use the
Mode Button
to select from the following three image display modes.
A.
Video
B.
Still Image
C.
Review

After selecting
Video Mode,
verify your selection by looking for the video icon in the upper left hand corner of
the display.
Press
OK
briefly to start recording. To stop recording, depress the
OK
button again.
NOTE:
Do not hold the OK
button continuously while starting or stopping the video recording. Just press and release to start and stop.

Using the
Mode
Button, select the
Still Image
mode. Verify your selection by looking for the still image icon in
the upper left hand corner of the display. Press
OK
once when you have selected the image you wish to
capture.
Should you decide that you want to capture and image while you are video recording, press the
Capture
Button
.
This button is utilized
Only
when the microscope is recording and a picture needs to be captured. If you decide
to capture the image this way, the resolution of the image may be chosen as either 720P or 1080P.
