Steam Dispensing - Frothing
Milk for Cappuccino
Danger of burning! The
steam wand may reach
high temperatures. Use the
devices supplied with the
machine to move the hot
water wand and the steam
wand.
Milk is a delicate biological product that can easily acidify
and that is altered by heat. Once the milk carton has been
opened, and throughout the period of use, it must be
maintained at a temperature not exceeding 5°C (41°F);
At the end of the working
day (or at least no more
than
24
hours
after
opening the carton), any
milk leftover should be
discarded.
Fill half a jug with milk (the jug must be high enough).
Insert the steam wand into the milk and gradually rotate
the steam dispensing knob counter-clockwise.
While dispensing steam, slightly rotate the jug to better
froth milk.
