Warning
Danger of toppling over
•
Danger of toppling exists when the crane is set up.
•
The minimum payload of the tripod must exceed 140 kg / 308.7 lb.
•
The height of the tripod to its uppermost point may not exceed
100 cm / 3’7”. The tripod legs must not be extended.
•
Operators must use a fully extended ground spreader or off-ground
spreader with the tripod.
•
The build up diameter of the tripod must be at least 1.5 m / 4’1”.
•
Place the CamCrane only on even ground that is able to support
the load.
On slippery surfaces, ground spreaders must be additionally
secured with sand sacks.
•
It is not possible to use sand sacks to secure off-ground spreaders.
On slippery surfaces, rubber feet must be used with tripods that
have off-ground spreaders to ensure a secure grip.
•
Take additional safety steps against horizontal force (e.g. wind) to
prevent the CamCrane EFP from toppling.
The CamCrane may not be operated in high winds.
Dolly operation
•
The CamCrane may only be moved with an additional operator.
•
The CamCrane may only be moved off-scenic.
•
All brakes have to be fixed right after moving the CamCrane.
•
The friction on the tripod head has to be adjusted according to the
charge of the CamCrane.
•
The CamCrane may not be used
– in uneven terrain
– over thresholds
– with a guideway.
