
• If the equipment is not working properly or a fault occurs, do not use the equipment and contact the manufacturer immediately.
The unit must be installed in a manner that guarantees that, under normal conditions, nobody is able to access any moving part, bare
energised cables or other components when:
- Disassembling the device using the proper tools.
- Removing the heat exchanger.
- Removing the modules from the motors.
• The power supply that is connected to the unit must meet current regulations.
• The power supply connected to the unit must be capable of supplying the electrical power that is required by the unit. If this is not
possible, modify the installation as required.
• Disconnect the unit from the main switch of the installation:
- If the unit is not working properly.
- Prior to cleaning the exterior of the unit.
- If the unit is not going to be used for a long period of time.

Make sure the unit discharges directly to the exterior; to a duct specifically installed for this purpose.
•
The extracted air flow must be clean (free of oils, soot, chemical agents, corrosive agents and explosive mixtures).
•
Keep the air connections and air grilles free of obstacles to ensure an optimum air flow is achieved.
The different Fan and Extractor Series from the manufacturer have been designed and manufactured taking into consideration the
particularity of Risk Elimination, in compliance with the Comprehensive Safety Requirements.
When permitted by their configuration and manufacturing process, the manufacturer incorporates the most appropriate Safety devices
directly. If, due to their installation or use conditions, this is not possible at origin, additional Safety accessories are available for
implementation prior to operation.
In all cases, the manufacturer has a full line of accessories for mandatory installation to protect the parts of the fan that could endanger
the physical safety of people.
These accessories are duly listed and referenced in the manufacturer’s general catalogue.
Make sure the connection to the general panel is properly labelled. The fan motor power line must incorporate a magneto-thermal circuit
breaker or equivalent to protect against the effects of a power overload, interruption of the power supply or drop in voltage.
6. Installation
The installation must be carried out by qualified personnel that is familiar with the installation, supervision and maintenance of these
types of units and using the proper tools.
• The device must be installed in accordance with the safety regulations that are in force in the destination country as well as the
instructions provided in this manual.
• Whenever possible, we recommend installing the units indoors.
6.1.
Electrical
• The voltage and frequency supplied by the electrical power grid must be compatible with the technical characteristics of the unit.
• We recommend installing a stop/start/safety switch.
