You must first have a set of allen keys. However, a
torque wrench (not supplied) is strongly recom-
mended in order to respect the different tighte-
ning torques.
It is imperative to respect the tightening
torques indicated. These torques are specific to
each component and/or model of bicycle.
2 - FRONT WHEEL ASSEMBLY
The bike is delivered with the front wheel re-
moved. So that the brake pistons do not close,
a wedge has been installed between the brake
pads (in red on the photo ).
- Remove the shim between the pads of the front
disc caliper. (do not activate the brake when
the brake pads is removed)
- Position the front wheel and insert the front
wheel axle. First screw the axle by hand then
tighten to the tightening torque indicated on the
wheel axle (if necessary, see tightening table on
page 13)
In the event of friction between the pads and the
discs, check that the axle is correctly tightened.
In the event of persistent friction, the caliper may
be incorrectly centred:
1- Loosen the brake caliper.
2- Brake to press the pads against the disc.
3- Tighten the bracket screws.
4- Release and check the operation
