 Route the front brake in the fork.

• 

Install a grommet at the entry port on the fork leg.

• 

Route the front brake housing into the fork leg, through the crown and up the 

steerer tube.

 Guide the front brake housing out the top of the fork.

• 

Guide the brake housing up the steerer tube until it exits through the top of 

the bonded steerer tube plug.

• 

Install the front brake on the fork according to the brake manufacturer’s 
instructions.

Grease then install the lower headset bearing in the lower headset cup, then 

run the fork into the head tube.

• 

Grease then install the upper headset bearing down over the steerer tube and 

into the headset cup, followed by the compression ring.

 Install the basebar.

• 

Install the basebar, followed by the top cap and bolt.

• 

The rear brake and electronic wire should be exiting the hole at the front of 

the top tube, above the stem.

WARNING! Do not apply grease or carbon assembly compound 

(carbon paste) between the stem and the steerer tube, and do not 

twist the stem onto the steerer tube. This can result in damage to 

the composite surface,which may result in a catastrophic failure 

of the fork, resulting in serious personal injury or death.
