Only clean vehicle engines in areas in which suitable
oil traps are installed.

SAFETY VALVE

n

The safety valve also functions as a pressure limiting
valve. When the gun trigger is released, the safety

pump inlet.

ASSEMBLY

CAUTION:

When connecting the appliance to the water
supply mains, please observe the  local

regulations of local boards or local water supplier.

CAUTION:

To ensure that there is no feedback of contaminant
into the water supply,  the appliance must not be

connected directly to the public drinking water
supply mains.

CAUTION:

If the appliance is connected to potable water
mains, backflow prevention devices should be

incorporated in or fixed to  the water supply
system. The installation should be accepted by
local boards or water supplier and should be
conducted by professional technical personnel.
The backflow prevention devices should be
appropriate to fluid categories and  comply
with the requirement to avoid backsiphonage
according to EN 60335-2-79/A2: 2007.

n

Fit the lance into the gun. Rotate it until the two parts
are completely locked. (Fig. 3)

n

Connect the gun to the high pressure hose. (Fig. 4)

n

Connect the high pressure hose to the water outlet
on the cleaner. (Fig.5)

n

Connect the water supply hose to the female coupler
(Fig. 6), then connect  to the water  inlet of the
cleaner. The supply hose must have an internal

diameter of at least 13mm (1/2 in.) and must be
reinforced. The water supply must be at least equal
to the cleaner delivery capacity.

WARNING:

The intake water temperature must not exceed
40°C (104° F). The water supply must not exceed

5 bar (0.5Mpa)

CAUTION:

The cleaner must only be used with clean water;
use of unfiltered water or corrosive chemicals will

damage the cleaner.

n

Turn the motor switch to the “OFF” position. (Fig.9)

n

Check that the electrical supply voltage and
frequency (Volt/Hz) correspond to those specified on
the cleaner rating plate. (Fig.7) If the power supply is
correct, you may now plug in the cleaner.

n

The cleaner must only be connected to power
sockets with regulation earth connection. A differential
safety breaker (30mA) will increase the safety of
operators.

OPERATION

n

Turn on the water supply tap fully.

n

Release the safety lock (Fig.8), then press the
trigger for a few seconds to allow air to escape
and to discharge residual pressure in the pipes.

n
