OPERATION

WARNING:

 

Do  not  allow  familiarity  with  tools  to  make  you  care-
less. Remember that a careless fraction of a second is 
sufficient to inflict serious injury.

Always wear eye protection with side shields marked to 
comply with ANSI Z87.1. Failure to do so could result in 
objects being thrown into your eyes, resulting in possible 
serious injury.

WARNING:

Do not use any attachments or accessories not recom-
mended by the manufacturer of this tool. The use of at-
tachments or accessories not recommended can result 
in serious personal injury.

WARNING: 

This  stand  is  designed  for  use  with  the  TS1141  miter 
saw only. Use with any other saw can result in serious 
personal injury.

APPLICATIONS

You may use this tool for the following purpose:

 

To  provide  a  stable,  secure  work  surface  for  a  miter 
saw

USING THE EXTENSION RAILS

See Figure 6.

Use  the  extension  rails  when  working  with  longer  work-
pieces.

To extend the rails:

 

Loosen the extension adjustment knob. 

 

Depress the locking pin and extend the rail to the desired 
position. 

 

Tighten the extension adjustment knob.

USING THE WORK SUPPORTS

See Figure 7.

Raise the work supports as needed so that longer workpieces 
are level as they rest on the miter saw table.
To raise the work supports:

 

Loosen the work support adjustment knob. 

 

Raise the work support to the desired position. 

 

Tighten the work support adjustment knob.
