3. Ensure that the unlock button for pivot head adjustment snaps in place.
UsinG edGe GUide
Use the edge guide (12) to keep distance to obstacles that could be hit by the cutting device.
1. Adjust the edge guide in lower position for trimming operation (Fig. 19).
2. Adjust the edge guide in upper position for edging and storage (Fig. 20).
WArninG! Adjust the yoke position only when the product is switched off and the cutting device
is at a complete stop!
connectinG to tHe poWer sUppLY (Fig. 21)
WArninG! For your safety, it is required that the plug attached to the trimmer is always
connected to an extension cord. the extension cord must be suitable for outdoor use with
sockets protected against water splashing. the extension cord must always be used with the
cable strain relief. do not use the trimmer without an extension cord connected. Always use a
residual current supply (rcd) protected supply.
1. Make sure the trigger switch (2) is in its off position.
2. Double the extension cord, about a foot from the end. Lead the loop through the hole on the rear safe guard
and hook the loop over the cord strain relief (3). Gently pull on the cord to ensure that it is firmly attached at
the handle.
3. Connect the extension cord to a suitable socket.

information on the rating label!
