FITTInG AuXIlIArY HAndlE 

(Fig.1)

noTE:

This  may  already  be  pre-fitted  to  the 

trimmer. However the following instructions 

give full assembly details.

1. Locate the auxiliary handle (3) to the bracket. 

Note its orientation.

2. Insert the bolt through the bracket and the 

handle  and  screw  into  the  captivated  nut. 

Tighten using the auxiliary handle locking knob 

(4).

1. Fit the safety guard (9) into the slot on motor 

housing, and then turn the safety guard till the 

screw holes on the safety guard and motor 

housing (8) are aligned.

2. Secure the safety guard onto the motor housing 

with screws provided.

AdJuSTInG AuXIlIArY HAndlE (Fig. 3)

The angle of the auxiliary handle can be fully adjusted 

in your most suitable position.

1. Loosen the auxiliary handle locking knob (4), and 

adjust  the  angle  of  the  auxiliary  handle  in  the 

direction of the shaft and also in a circumferential 

direction of the shaft.

2. Turn the knob until the handle is securely tightened

note

: For trimming, adjust the handle upward. For 

edging adjust it downward.
