CAUTION!

To avoid overheating of the BBQ or Fireplace do not use the

device for longer than necessary.

With the temperature adjustment lever (1) you can select from

three temperature settings depending on application.

The nozzles can easily be pushed over the hot air nozzle (3).

Never touch the nozzles during operation or right after use

of the device. The nozzles are very hot.

The device has two handle positions. Position 1-a is suitable

for killing weeds and Position 1-b is for lighting charcoal. In

position 2, the device can be used as a heat gun.

To change the handle positions, twist the handle (4) while

pressing the lock button for twisting handle (5).

from the tool while pressing the lock button (8) for extension

handle.

5. Check to ensure the nozzle is not blocked before

    turning the device on.

7. Press the On/Off switch.
8. Allow the device about 45 seconds to warm up.
9. To eliminate weeds, hold the nozzle over the weeds for

    about 5 seconds.

During these 5 seconds the cell structure of the weed is

destroyed. As a result, the weed dies within a few days.

It is not necessary to completely burn the weeds, 5 seconds

    is more than sufficient.

For an efficient treatment the nozzle should be held

around 0 to 5cm above the weeds.

The effects are not visible immediately but will take a while

before they can be seen. It is more of a long-term effect.

1. Ensure the extension handle is firmly fixed onto the

device and that the device is turned off.
2. Turn the device to position 1-a.
3. Attach the weed killer nozzle (11) to destroy weeds.
4. Insert the plug into the socket.

If using the tool as a weed killer you must use the extension

handle.

The BBQ and fireplace lighter is always to be used without

the extension handle.
1. Remove the extension handle.
2. Turn the handle to position 1-b.
3. Attach the BBQ lighting nozzle onto the tool.
4. Place the nozzle under the coal or the wood, and make

    sure it is properly positioned.
5. Insert the plug into the socket.
6. Check to ensure the nozzle is not blocked before

    turning the switch on.
7. Set the temperature adjustment lever to I, II or III.
8. Press the On/Off switch.
9. Remove the device from the coals or the wood as soon

as it starts to glow, and blow hot air into the coals or wood

from a distance of around 5-10cm, until the coals or wood

    is burning properly.

This will help to avoid damaging the nozzle attachment.

Exposing the nozzle to high temperatures for a prolonged

period of time could cause the material to melt. Please

follow these instructions to achieve long-term enjoyment

    with the product.
