Hammer stop (Fig. 6)
Your hammer drill is equipped with a hammer stop facility
for smooth drilling.
To deactivate the hammer action, turn the lever switch (6)
clockwise to position (b).
To reactivate the hammer action, the lever switch (6) has to
be reset to poisition (a).
Only after the on/off switch (2) is actuated and the machine
starts does the gear box shift to the selected mode.
Note: Left rotation when impact drilling damages the drill.
Switch off the impact mechanism for diamond crown drilling
or for mixing work.
Rotation Direction Switching
Do not change rotation direction while machine is rotating.
Right rotation: Set the rotational direction swirch (2) to right
position.
Left rotation: Set the rotational direction switch (2) to left
position.
Important!
When hammer drilling you only require low pressure. Too
much pressure will place unnecessary load on the motor.
Check the drill bits regularly. Re-sharpen or replace blunt
drill bits.
Maintenance
•
Remove the main plug from the socket before carrying
out any adjustment, servicing or maintenance.
•
Keep your machine clean at all times.
•
Never use caustic agents to clean the plastic parts.
•
At the end of your work, to prevent dust deposits you
should use compressed air (max. 3 bar) to clean out the
ventilation slots.
•
Check the carbon brushes regularly (dirty or worn carbon
brushes result in excessive sparking and speed faults).
