Unplug

 

the

 

saw

 

from

 

the

 

outlet. Ensure

 

the

 

cutting

 

head

 

is

 

up

 

to

 

its

 

full

 

extent.

Loosen

 

the

 

cover

 

plate

 

stop

 

screw

  

(Fig

 

1)

 

and

 

take

 

note

 

of

 

where

 

guard

 

screw

  

(supplied

 

with

 

loose

 

parts)

 

is

 

to

 

be

 

located.

Fit

 

the

 

guard

 

around

 

the

 

blade

 

and

 

ensure

 

the

 

cover

 

plate

 

of

 

the

 

guard

 

is

 

located

 

over

 

the

 

cover

 

plate

 

stop

 

screw.

Fit

 

the

 

guard

 

screw

 

and

 

tighten

 

before

 

tightening

 

the

 

cover

 

plate

 

stop

 

screw.

Position

 

the

 

connecting

 

bar

 

to

 

the

 

back

 

of

 

the

 

unit

 

and

 

use

 

the

 

screw

 

pivot

 

point

 

to

 

fix

 

the

 

bar

 

to

 

the

 

saw

 

(Fig

 

2). The

 

saw

 

head

 

may

 

need

 

to

 

be

 

moved

 

up

 

and

 

down

 

slightly

 

in

 

order

 

to
