GENERAL SAFETY RULES

WARNING

When using battery operated tools, basic safety

instructions should always be followed to reduce

the risk of fire, leaking batteries and personal

injury including the following. Read all these

instructions before operating this product and

save these instructions for future reference.

Keep work area clean.

Cluttered areas and benches

invite injuries.

Consider work area environment.

Do not expose

power tools to rain. Do not use power tools in damp

or wet locations.

Keep work area well lit.

Do not use power tools

where there is risk to cause fire or explosion.

Keep children away.

Do not let visitors touch the

tool. All visitors should be kept away from the area.

Dress properly.

Do not wear loose clothing or

jewellery, they can be caught in moving parts.

Use safety glasses. 

Use face or dust mask if the

cutting operation is dusty. Also use ears protection to

reduce the risk of induced hearing loss.

Stay alert. 

Watch what you are doing at all times.

Use common sense. Do not operate tool when you

are tired or under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Store batteries or idle tools.

When not in use, tools

and batteries should be stored separately in a dry,

high or locked up place, out of the reach of children.

Ensure that battery terminal will not be shorted by

other metal parts such as screws, nail etc.

Secure work. 

Use clamps or vice to hold the work. 

It is safer than using your hand and it frees both

hands to operate the tools.

Do not overreach.

Keep proper footing and balance

at all times.

Do not force the tool. 

It will do the job better and

safer at the rate for which it was intended.

Use the right tools.

Do not force small tools or

attachments to do the job of a heavy duty tool. 

Do not use tools for purposes not intended.

Maintain tools with care.

Keep cutting tools sharp

and clean for better performance. Follow instructions

for lubrication and changing accessories. 

Inspect tool cord periodically and if damaged

have it repaired by an authorized service facility.

Keep handles dry, clean and free from oil and grease.

Check damage parts.

Before further use of the tools, a

guard or other parts that is damaged should be carefully

checked to determine that it can operate properly and

perform its intended function. Any parts that is damaged

should be properly repaired or replace by an authorized

service center unless otherwise indicated in this

instruction manual. Have defective switches replaced by

an authorized service facility. Do not use the tool if the

switch does not turn it on and off.

Avoid accidental starting.

Be sure that the switch

trigger is in the locked or OFF position after use. 

Do not carry the tool with a finger on the switch.

Disconnect  tools. 

Where  the  design  permits,

disconnect the tool from its battery pack when not 

in use, before servicing and when changing accessories.

Disconnect charger.

To reduce the risk of electric

shock, unplug the charger from the wall outlet before

attempting any maintenance or cleaning. Turning off

the controls will not reduce this risk.

Disconnect battery pack.

Disconnect battery pack

from tool before making any adjustments, changing

accessories or storing the tool. Depending on the design.

Charger maintenance

. Do not disassemble the

charger. Take it to a qualified service agent when

service or repair is required. Incorrect assembly may

result in risk of electric shock of fire.

Do not abuse the cord. 

Never use the cord to carry

the  charger.  Keep  cord  away  from  heat,  oil, 

sharp edges or moving parts. Replace damaged

cords immediately. Damaged cords may create a fire.

A battery operated tool with integral batteries or a

separate battery pack must be recharged only

with  the  specified  charger  for  the  battery.

A charger that may be suitable for one type of battery

may create a risk of fire when used with another

battery. Use battery only with charger listed.
