BEFORE FIRST USE
• Remove all sticker, protective plastic and all other packing materials from the iron
(including the sole plate).
• Fill the water tank of the iron to MAX capacity according to the level indicator.
• Heat the iron to MAX temperature by turning the temperature selector. Iron a piece of
damp cloth for approximately five minutes. This way you get rid of any manufacturing
residues on the sole plate.
USING THE STEAM IRON
• Start by filling the water tank with water through the water inlet. Hold the iron in a
tilted position, and fill the water tank by using a measuring cup. Make sure to not
exceed the MAX level. Press down the water inlet cover and you will hear a click when
it is closed properly.
• Make sure that the steam knob is turned off and that the iron is placed vertically
before plugging in the iron.
• Connect plug to outlet and turn the temperature selector to your desired setting
depending on the fabric of your garment. The indicator light will illuminate which
indicates that the iron is heating up.
• Once the sole plate has reached the set temperature, the indicator light will go out.
Set the steam knob to desired steam output, or dry position for no steam. You can now
begin ironing. While pressing the iron down, temperatures and steam output can be
adjusted during ironing.
NOTE! As the sole plate is very HOT, never touch it before cooling down completely.
• Press the spray button during the ironing to moisten your garments if necessary.
Before spraying, make sure that there is enough water in the water tank.
• The steam button can be used when holding the iron in a vertical position. The steam
button is very useful for removing winkles on your garments. The steam button is best
used when the iron is set to MAX temperature.
• This iron is equipped with an anti-drip function. If you are ironing garments for a long
time, the temperature of the sole plate will ware off and it will stop producing steam
automatically.
CLEANING AND MAINTANENCE
• After ironing, disconnect the power supply and wait for the iron to cool down
completely.
• Empty the water that is left in the water tank. Cover the water inlet again after
draining.
• Reconnect the iron to the power supply to dry the soleplate completely. Disconnect
when the indicator light turns off.
• Let the iron cool down completely, then clean the base and upper part of the iron with
a damp cloth. Wipe any residues on the sole plate off with a damp cloth.
• Always store the iron horizontally on a flat, dry surface with a cloth protecting the sole plate.
