GETTING STARTED
• Remove all labels, tags and stickers attached to the body or cord of the juicer.
• Wash all removable parts as instructed in the ‘CARE AND CLEANING’ section.
Caution: Do not rinse or immerse base in water or any other liquid.
• Place base on a dry, level counter to prepare and assemble, following instructions in the
‘ASSEMBLING YOUR JUICER’ section.
ASSEMBLING YOUR JUICER
• Lower the container over the base stem until the container rests on the base.
• Place the strainer on top of the container.
• Choose either the small or large self reversing cone (depending on the size of fruit you wish
to juice).
Note: The small cone is recommended for small fruits such as lemons and
the large cone for larger fruits such as grapefruits.
Important: If choosing the large self-reversing cone, place it on top of the
small self-reversing cone. Place the notches of the large cone over the
stirrers of the small cone and press to snap into place.
• Place cone over the base stem until the cone rests on top of the strainer.
Note: When using the large cone, place the small cone inside it, the small
cone can be used by itself.
USING YOUR JUICER
• Unwrap the cord from the cord wrap underneath the base.
• Plug the cord into a standard electrical outlet.
• Cut the piece of fruit you want to juice in half (orange, lime, lemon or grapefruit).
• Remove the storage lid from the citrus juicer.
• Place a jug or glass under the stainless steel ‘snap-up’ juice spout.
• Press down on the juice spout and ensure it is in the lowered position for juicing.
Note: When the juicing action begins, the juice flows directly into the jug or glass.
• Place the cut side of the fruit facing down on the self-reversing cone.
• Using moderate to firm pressure, press the fruit down to start the juicing action, the cone will
rotate until the pressure is released.
• Press down on the fruit again and the self-reversing cone will start rotating.
Note: The cone changes direction each time you release the pressure on the
fruit and then re-apply the pressure again.
• For best results, alternate between pressing the fruit down firmly and releasing pressure to
extract all the juice from the fruit. Do this several times.
• The motor stops automatically when you remove the fruit from the cone or if the pressure is
completely released.
