Introduction 

Congratulations on the purchase of a Russell Hobbs Full Feature Steam/Dry 

Iron. Our products are manufactured to meet the highest standards of 

quality, functionality and design. We hope you throughly enjoy using the 

new Russell Hobbs steam iron. Before use, please read these instructions 

carefully and keep them for further reference. 

 

Please remove all packaging, and keep until you are satisfied that the iron is 

working properly. 

 
The instruction manual describes the many benefits and advantages and 
features that this unique appliance has to offer. Please read these 
instructions before you use your appliance for the first time. 

 

Important Safeguards 

 
For safety purposes and in order to get familiar with your Russell Hobbs iron 
you should read these instructions carefully before using the iron for the 
first time. 
 

DO’s & DON’TS 

 

DO’S 

 

1.

 

Check the mains voltage stated on the iron. 

2.

 

Unwind and straighten the power cord before use. 

3.

 

Switch the iron on by turning the Temperature Dial in a clockwise 
direction - pilot light glows. 

4.

 

Turn the Temperature Dial to the middle point of 1 dot, 2 dots, 3 dots or 
maximum setting. 

5.

 

Switch the iron off by turning the Temperature Dial in an anti-clockwise 
direction when it is not in use - even for a short period of time. Turn the 
Temperature Dial to the ‘Min

position. 

6.

 

Disconnect the iron from the mains supply outlet when filling or 
emptying water. 

7.

 

Remove the water remaining in the water tank. 

8.

 

Use the Self-Cleaning function at least once a month. 

9.

 

Switch the steam function off by moving the steam control knob to 
upright position when it is not in use - even for a short period of time.   

10.

 

If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer 
or its service agent or similarly a qualified person in order to avoid a 
hazard.
