9. TROUBLESHOOTING
Try the suggestions below to see if you can solve the problem before calling the service
center or the manufacturer.
PROBLEM CAUSE SOLUTIONS
The engine is
not working
Lack of power supply Check the connection plate with
a tester
The safety thermostat is
on Wait about a minute, then
restart
The engine
works, but the
burner does
not ignite after
a few
seconds, the
heating
system stops
The gas valve of the
cylinder is closed Open the gas tap
The bottle is empty Use a new bottle
The nozzle is blocked Remove the nozzle and clean it
Solenoid gas valve it is
not open Check that the solenoid valve is
working
Don't spark Check the position of the
electrode
The burner
ignites, but
after a few
seconds, the
heating
system stops
There is no connection to
the grounding system Check and connect properly
Malfunction between
sensor and safety device Check and connect properly
Defective safety device Replace the safety device
The heater
stops during
operation
Excessive gas supply Check the pressure reducer
and, if necessary, replace it
Insufficient air flow Check that the engine is
working properly
Insufficient gas supply
due to the formation of ice
on the cylinder Check and use a larger cylinder
or two bottles connected
together.
