Removing the knife, replacing it, sharpening

When
removing
the
knife
for
sharpening or changing, protect your hands
with a pair of thick gloves when holding the
knife.
⚫
Remove the HEX HD screw and pay
washer that hold the knife.
Careful:
Periodically inspect the knife adapter for cracks, especially if you hit
a hard object. Replace it when needed.
When sharpening the knife, follow the original angle of the edge as a reference point. It
is extremely important that each part of the knife is sharpened equally to prevent the knife
from unbalancing. The unbalanced knife will cause excessive vibration when the engine
enters speed. Before reinstalling the knife and knife adapter, lubricate the engine shaft
with oil. Make sure you have installed the knife with the face marked with the number
down when the machine is in the operating position.

Insert the knife adapter into the engine shaft.
⚫
Place the knife in the adapter. Make sure it is aligned and placed on the adapter.
⚫
Place flat washer on the knife.
⚫
Replace the Hex HD screw
NOTE:
To make sure the machine is working properly, the knife screw must be inspected
periodicallytightening).
Emergency stop handle :
Lubricate the pivot
points of the stop handle at least once a season
with oil
Wheels:
Lubricate the wheels at least once a
season with oil (engine oil). If the wheels are
removed for any reason, lubricate the surface of
the rear axle and the inner surface of the oil wheel
